Aubrey was this (2) and now is this (3)!!

My sweet little Aubrey is 3 now. She always says it holding up her little fingers....now I am this! I felt really scrambled for her birthday this year as we were and still are in the midst of a move. It is hard to plan a party when you don't quite have a place to call your own. But we did it! Phew! On her actual birthday we met up with some of Mikes family....they were traveling through Edmonton on their way to a summer job. We ate at Olive Garden, and long story short, after a very long wait for our food, our server managed to get our entire bill taken care of...including dessert! Can't complain about that! :)

It was also really good seeing some of Mikes siblings....we hadn't seen them in almost 2 years!
After that we headed over to west Edmonton mall and took the kids to Galaxyland. We bought a few tokens and let them ride on a few of the rides. They had a great time, and so did Mike and I watching them!

The day after her birthday we had all of my family come in for a birthday lunch. A few frozen pizzas and some French fries, salad and pop....and of course cake!

I usually like to do really fun cakes but like I said earlier I was a bit scrambled and didn't have any of my own cake decorating stuff, so I thought it would be really fun and cute to make cake pops! Lol....maybe just a word of advice, don't let your first time making them be at 11:00 pm the night before the party. The blogs make it look so easy! Ha ha.....we did manage to have a handful turn out ok....mostly hidden by sprinkles (life saver!) just don't look too close! :)

The good thing though was they did taste great, even if more than half of them were blobs on a cookie sheet!  We also had a little cake made because a few of my family members can't eat gluten.  It all worked out in the end and everyone got some cake.

We got her a few stuffed dolls from the Disney store. Not typically my first choice but you tend to cave when she spend the entire time at the store playing with these dolls. She loves them....and when I asked her what she thought when she opened up,her present her reply was "they're beautiful!!!!!"

This little girl makes my smile to no end. She is such a sweetheart and can easily wrap anybody
around her little finger. She gives the best hugs and we love that she is all ours! This is the first year I get to do the birthday questions for her and here are her answers! :)
